Heidi Hardman
President
Heidi is President of Polka Dogz Pet Rescue and a business owner. One of her stores is Polka Dotz located in Winter Garden Village (next to Planet Smoothie), The Loop (near PetCo), and in The Florida Mall (near Dillard’s). At The Loop and Winter Garden there are rescue sections set up for customers to buy items to support the rescue.
Aaron Stein
Volunteer Coordinator
Aaron started in rescue in 2010 and has learned all about what makes rescue dogs great over the ensuing years. He is not only the Volunteer Coordinator but also the genius behind the adorably cute name of our rescue. He believes himself to be quite witty and henceforth is still available for adoption.
Renee Lanham
Pack Leader
Renee joined the Polka Dogz family in April 2017 by volunteering at the facility with her husband, Mike, after they both retired. Little did they know that the one or two nights a week picking up shifts to go along with retirement life would quickly turn into full time volunteer positions! Renee now serves on the board while she and Mike also act as our adoption coordinators, bankers, office managers, and sooo much more! We have no doubt these two work harder in retirement with Polka Dogz then they did in the full time jobs! Not only that, but they, to date, have adopted Koal (formerly Uh Oh) and Kadi (formerly Butterbean).
